Timber Processing Plant (TMOP) in Florida is the largest timber processing plant in the country and the largest in the world.
But despite the company’s large size, the cast of characters onscreen don’t appear to be very well-rounded.
In the film, titled Timber Processing, an American logging company has to battle the encroaching menace of a massive fungus, which has become a major issue in the region.
The fungus has been spreading throughout the forests, causing the death of thousands of trees and causing trees to fall from the tallest buildings in the US, the Times reports.
But in the movie, the characters don’t see the problem coming and don’t realize that the problem could have much more dire consequences for their lives.
The forest company, which is based in Fort Myers, Florida, has been trying to combat the fungus, as well as other threats such as drought and pollution, by hiring a team of specialists.
However, these efforts have not been enough to combat it.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the forest company has struggled to recruit top-notch scientists, engineers and loggers, and is struggling to recruit new employees because of its large size.
The film is being produced by Universal Pictures and starring Jennifer Lawrence and Rooney Mara.
The film will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in May.
