Democrats launch new ad against Trump’s timber coating ban

Democrats on Tuesday launched a new TV ad criticizing the Trump administration’s new timber coating policy.

The ad, released by Democratic senators Amy Klobuchar, Chris Coons, Cory Booker, Maria Cantwell, Ed Markey, Al Franken, Elizabeth Warren, and Kirsten Gillibrand, also slams the Trump Administration for the ban.

The Democratic senators say it’s not enough to simply protect the American people from climate change, and instead, they want the administration to create a process to make sure all Americans have a chance to get the protection they need, and that is by protecting the timber industry.

“The Trump administration should not be allowed to do this to our forests.””

The senators also highlight the fact that the Trump team had already removed more than 1,300 timber-related rules, from protecting streams and rivers, to protecting coastal areas, from environmental rules. “

The rules were designed to help protect our country from the effects of climate change and the harmful effects of industrial development.
